1900s - 1970s: 1975 Topps #604 Oscar Zamora The ugliness of the airbrush job matches the ugliness of his 1975 ERA, which was 5.07. That's not what you'd like to see from your closer.

Five Random Cubs Cards
I've got 15,001Cubs cards from 122 different brands listed on a spreadsheet. A random number generator picked five cards, one each from the past several decades.
1900s - 1970s: 1975 Topps #604 Oscar Zamora The ugliness of the airbrush job matches the ugliness of his 1975 ERA, which was 5.07. That's not what you'd like to see from your closer.
1980s: 1986 7 Eleven Central #10 Rick Sutcliffe The disc actually has three pictures of three players on it though you can only see one in the scan. Also included are Jack Morris and Bert Blyleven
1990s: 1992 Topps Gold Winner #580 Greg Maddux This is from the set that Topps put out after they messed up a contest and made it too easy to win. More about the 1992 fiasco is here. Maddux' 1992 season was not a fiasco as he won the Cy Young with a record of 20-11 and an ERA of 2.18
2000s: 2009 Topps #449 Mike Fontenot The 2009 season saw his average plummet, from .305 in '08 to .236 in '09. The Cubs saw the writing on the wall and by the middle of the 2010 season Starlin Castro replaced him.
2010s: 2016 Topps Wrigley Field #19 Babe Ruth Leave it to Topps...a card celebrating 100 years of Cubs baseball at Wrigley Field shows Babe Ruth on the south side at Comiskey Park (the arches in the background are the identifying feature).
1900s - 1970s: 1975 Topps #604 Oscar Zamora The ugliness of the airbrush job matches the ugliness of his 1975 ERA, which was 5.07. That's not what you'd like to see from your closer.
