The 1970 sets for both OPC and Topps were their biggest yet. The OPC set is made up of the first five Topps series and used the same numbering as Topps.

The Topps name was left on the back of the OPC card instead of being replaced by "O-Pee-Chee" like was done in 1969. The 1970 cards mark the first time the backs became bilingual. The layout had to be changed slightly to do this, moving the biographical information outside of the blue box. The cartoons were edited too and the speech bubbles on the Topps cards were removed. That leaves the OPC cartoons making less sense, since you just have the characters and no idea what they are saying.
