Once again the OPC set is one-half the size of Topps. Players were selected from the complete Topps set and some were give new card numbers.
The fronts have the O-Pee-Chee logo on them, and this is the first time the new logo makes an appearance. This logo would be used by the company until its demise.
They put the new logo on the fronts, but on the back they didn't use the logo. Strange.
The Cubs won the NL East in 1984 and the OPC set in 1985 included all of the major contributors to that title.
