The 1988 OPC set is another 1/2 Topps set, picking out the best players from all 792 Topps cards and ignoring the lessers.
A logo swap is the only difference on the fronts.
The O-Pee-Chee logo is on both the front and the back of the card. The backs have the usual bilingual changes.
There are four hall of famers in the Cubs set though Lee Smith is "Now with the Red Sox." The HOFers could manage just 75 wins and a fourth place finish.
I knew immediately that the Rafeal Palmeiro trade was a dumbass one and then the Lee Smith trade......two great players for not much in return. Typical Cubs.
