All I've Got of Him - Ian Happ

It seems like a good time to show all of the Ian Happ cards in my collection since last week he and the Cubs agreed to a contract extension through the 2026 season.  He'll be getting $61 million for the three additional years.  Not too bad.

I don't have a player collection of Happ so everything I've got is for the team sets.  Happ is also a relic and autograph rule follower so I have cards for those collections too.

These are among my earliest Happ cards, all from 2016.  He was included in Bowman, Heritage Minors, and Pro Debut.  The next season he made his Cubs debut and played in 115 games.  That got him included in most of the major brands like Topps flagship, Chronicles, Gallery Chrome, Gold Label, Fire, Heritage, and Bowman.

In 2018 he hit a home run on the very first pitch of the entire season and that got him a card in the Living Set.  It was just the second week of the set, so Happ has card #5.

While he has been on the checklist of most of the major brands since 2017, what he doesn't have many of are insert cards.  He's got a couple of Ginter relics, a Heritage Clubhouse Collection and New Age Performer, and a few flagship inserts.  He was always overshadowed by Bryant, Rizzo, and Baez in most insert sets.  We'll see if that changes now that he is getting the big bucks.

All together I have 89 cards of Ian Happ and they are all below.
