2007 again saw three major sets, though the Fleer set was again on the small side with 430 cards. Topps was at 661 while Upper Deck again had the massive set with 1020 cards. That means that there are again several Cubs players with just one card, an Upper Deck card.
Topps attempt to recreate the 1971 design did not work. Upper Deck looks atrocious - no wonder there license would not be renewed. Fleer swan song was probably the best looking set.
