And then there were two. Upper Deck, which bought the Fleer name in 2005, decided to not put out a Fleer set in 2008. That left just Topps and Upper Deck as the only main brands.
The Topps cards make it very easy to see both the team name and players name. Upper Deck, not so much. And with just two brands, we have a lot of players in both sets.
Wow, there was some talent on that roster.

I think we're nearing the stage of the franchise where 5th place finishes were the standard.
Only wish the player photo was cropped just a little larger on the (about Kevin Hart's proportion) but 2008 Topps is probably the 2nd best design of the 21st century next this years design. Upper Deck "Blah"
