1960s Fleer Cloth Patch, The Original Patch

In late February, I started picking up some Fleer stickers and cloth patches from the late '60s and early 70s.  Fleer had a couple variations of these and it has taken me ten months to track down one of them:

This is the original city cloth patch.  The "ubs" in the Cubs looks looks pretty strange,doesn't it?  Its way too small.  Fleer must have felt the same way because they corrected the patch.  That makes this original release a bit more scarce, hence the long wait to find one.
