1900s - 1970s: 1954 Bowman #61 Eddie Miksis Eddie is not a very happy looking man. Was it because of his .202 average in 1954? The Cubs 90 losses that season?

Five Random Cubs Cards
I've got 15,525 Cubs cards from 130 different brands listed on a spreadsheet. A random number generator picked five cards, one each from the past several decades.
1900s - 1970s: 1954 Bowman #61 Eddie Miksis Eddie is not a very happy looking man. Was it because of his .202 average in 1954? The Cubs 90 losses that season?
1980s: 1982 Fleer #587 Tim Blackwell This would be a great pose for a Panini card, with nearly no logos visible.
1990s: 1995 Flair #111 Jim Bullinger This card shows the only thing I remember about Bullinger - the funky way he wore his stirrups.
2000s: 2002 Topps Chrome #31 Kevin Tapani This card comes from the era when the Chome set included all of the cards the base set. Today a guy who was 9-14 the year prior to the card being issued does not get a Chrome card.
2010s: 2012 Sega Card Gen #234 Carlos Marmol By the time this card came out in 2012, Marmol has lost his command and his job as the Cubs closer.

For that brief moment in time Marmol was magnificent--not counting the walks.
