Heritage 2016 Cubs Inserts

I wanted to show the Heritage inserts yesterday, but I got a little distracted.  

Here is the Then and Now with the mistake.

This is the first time in ten years that an active Cubs player has been featured on one of these.  It is also the first time ever that both players on the card are Cubs.  

Here are the 13 different Then and Nows with Cubs.  It's been basically Sammy, D-Lee, and Ernie.

New Age Performers was the other insert that had a Cub presence.  In fact, it was a double presence

 

It's no surprise to see Bryant.  Schwarber was an interesting inclusion because while good enough to be a new age performer, he wasn't good enough to get his own Heritage card.  He only managed a dual player rookie card.

After a bit of a drought, this is the second year in a row that NAP included a Cub. A total of 13 Cubs cards have been included.  Sammy was included four times in five years.  No other Cub was in the set more than once.
