The 1967 O-Pee-Chee set is made up of the first Topps series. Three of the Cubs biggest stars, Ernie Banks, Fergie Jenkins, and Billy Williams, are missing because they were in higher Topps series. You can also tell the difference between the first and second series cards because the first series does not have a dot between the player's name and position.

ReplyDeleteWish Topps would have done lettering in team colors -- blue or red would have looked sharp with these. This design reminds me a lot of the 1988 design...
