Five Random Cubs Cards

I've got 19,413 Cubs cards from 285 different brands listed on a spreadsheet. A random number generator picked five cards, one each from the past several decades.

1900s - 1970s: 1070 Topps #318 Willie Smith  We start with the man who got the 1969 season off to a great start with his pinch hit, walk off, Opening Day home run in the bottom of the 11th inning.

1980s: 1987 Fleer #570 Jamie Moyer  Moyer was just 23-years-old when the picture on this card was taken.  He would retire 26 years later.

1990s: 1993 Bowman #144 Mike Morgan  Here's another guy with a very long career. Morgan was in the middle of his five seasons with the Cubs.  He ended up pitching in parts of 22 different seasons.  His five years with the Cubs was the longest tenure with any of the twelve teams he played for.

2000s: 2005 Donruss Diamond Kings #284 Andre Dawson  Dawson always looks so cool on his baseball cards.  Despite the friendly looking smile, however, he was a fierce competitor.

2010s: 2013 Triple Play #13 Starlin Castro Panini brought Triple Play back in 2012.  With odd looking cards like this one, its not surprising that 2013 was the last year of the set.
