Travis Wood Fixed

A couple months ago I had a post about the mistake on Wood's Gypsy Queen autograph card.

The Cubs got Wood from the Reds in an off-season trade and Topps rushed to get the card front switched from the Reds to the Cubs,

using this picture and then doing a little photoshop magic, but they forgot about the back.

It took me a while, but I finally got around to fixing that up.

Much better.

It looks like Wood has got around to fixing himself on the mound, too.  His season got off to a shaky start as he didn't even make the team out of spring training and started the year in AAA.  He's had a couple stints with the Cubs now and after starting 0-3 has won his last three starts.  In the three wins he's given up only one run in 20 2/3 innings.

I fix the card, he fixes his pitching, and all is well with the world...except the Cubs are still in last place.

I purposely posted this today, since Wood's next start is tomorrow...get the good words out before he implodes!
