1983 All-Star Game Program Cubs

The 1983 All-Star Game was held at Comiskey Park.  The park got the nod for the game to celebrate 50 years since the very first All-Star game, also held at Comiskey Park.

The entire Cubs infield was on the ballot and included in the insert set.  None of them made the team, however.  The two Cubs on the NL squad were Leon Durham and Lee Smith.

  1. Cool Sandberg rookie oddball issue. That'd be the last time the Cub didn't have an infielder on the NL All-Star roster for the next decade or so.
