For the third consecutive year, Topps has released a T206 set as an online exclusive. The set is again being issued in waves, though this year there are 100 cards in the wave. Previous years had 50 per wave.
The cards are the small tobacco card size and have a very basic design. There are no numbers on the backs.
The first wave came out in late June and each month has seen another wave issued. October will be wave 5, though I haven't seen anywhere just how many waves will be made.
The Cubs have six players in the first wave, but only two are active. The other four are retired players.
