Today's set is Fleer's 1963 attempt to combat Topps' baseball card monopoly. It lasted for just one series of 66 cards before legal action by Topps shut it down.
Just two Cubs were included in the set, a relative unknown and a budding star.
Some day I'll have to fire up Photoshop and make a complete Cubs set for 1963.
