Action Packed added an insert set to their packs, the gold set. The cards have the same design as the base cards except for some gold detailing. The card number on the back has a G in front of the number.
In series one the set was comprised of the first 18 base cards, which means that there are three Cubs. The second series used the first 46 base cards and the last one. No Cubs were included in the second series.
The extra gold detailing doesn't show up very well on the scans, but in hand, it is pretty easy to tell the difference between the two.
