This is what the WW World Headquarters looks like in early November. This is also what Cubs fans hope to see at the ballpark.... Red Ivy.
When the season begins, the ivy is still dormant and an ugly brown.
Then, as if by magic, when they return from a road trip and we see the Wrigley outfield for the first time in a week, the brown is gone and the beautiful green ivy and come in.
But as picturesque as the ivy is, the best look would be the red ivy. It shows up in late October or early November. The only way we get to see it is if the Cubs are still playing in late October or early November. That means the post season, or most likely, the World Series.
While I get to see red ivy on the front of my house every fall, I'd sure like to see it again at Wrigley Field during a Cubs game.
