Five Random Cubs Cards

I've got 20,797 Cubs cards from 305 different brands listed on a spreadsheet. A random number generator picked five cards, one each from the past several decades.

1900s - 1970s: 1953 Bowman #110 Bob Rush The righty was an All-Star in 1952, but slumped in 1953.  He posted a record of 9-14 with an ERA of 4.54.  That  was eight less wins and over an ERA over a run and a half higher.

1980s: 1985 Louisville Slugger Gary Matthews  The 1985 Cubs team had several players that were Gold Glove winners, but it was a now-winner that was on the Louisville Slugger Advisory Staff.

1990s: 1999 MVP #40 Mark Grace A card from MVP made me curious - how did Mark Grace do in MVP voting over his career.  Well, he finished in the top 20 four times.  His highest placement was 13th, in 1995

2000s: 2006 SP Legendary Cuts #52 Mark Grace  Double Grace today!  This picture looks to be from the very early part of his career.

2010s: 2017 Bunt #40 Kyle Schwarber  Oh, the irony -- a guy that either strikes out or hits a home run on a bunt card.  And what about him bunting on an 0-2 count in the eighth inning of the last game of the World Series?
