1963 Jello Billy Williams

I've added #115 to by Billy Williams PSA master set collection.

This is the 1983 Jello card, not to be confused with...

...the 1963 Post cereal card.  Both cards were put out by the same company on boxes of their product.  It takes an eagle-eye to tell the difference.

The tell-tale sign is the red line that separates the yearly stats from the career stats.

On the Jello cards the line starts and stops close to the numbers while on the Post card the line goes almost to the edge of the card.  Find the line and you can easily tell Jello or Post.

  1. Wow... what a subtle difference! I would have passed them off as the same card for sure.

  2. I love the photo variations of these sets, both Post and Jello. You can find different cropping for every card depending on which cereal featured them.

  3. Thanks for the heads up. I only have a few Post (or maybe they're Jello) cards in my collection. Time to do some investigating when I get home from work.
