We had a nice, relaxing Saturday in Jefferson City. No biking meant sleeping in for a bit. We spent the afternoon at the Capitol, which is a pretty impressive building. The Missouri State Museum is also in the Capitol and we went through it. I now know more about Missouri than I really need to know.
This was the highlight…. I found the Cubs logo in the floor of the Capitol. Nice to know that Missouri loves the Cubs!
We’re back on the trail tomorrow with our longest ride of the trip.

Did you change before going into the Capitol, or did you just roll in wearing your biking gear?
ReplyDeleteWe were in our regular clothes since it was a day off from riding. But when we ride we don’t wear the typical bike-riding gear; no tight shirts covered in logos and biker shorts for us. So when we visit places while riding, we may be a bit sweaty, but we’re dressed pretty normally.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures!
