Today's ride was our shortest of the trip, just 14 miles to the town of Rocheport. After two days of longer rides, it was nice to have an easy trip. Leaving Boonville, we crossed over the Missouri River to the north side, which is the side we'll be on for the remainder of the trip.
New Franklin was a starting point for the Sante Fe Trail and Lewis and Clark came through Rocheport, but no big leaguers came from either town.
