Celebrating the End of Another School Year

My school year ended on Wednesday night with the 8th grade graduation service. I've now got 28 years in the classroom completed, including 15 as a principal. The experience has not caused my hair to either fall out or turn gray, so I must be doing something right!

I celebrated the end of the school year by doing a little on-line shopping;

a little Topps Series 2 shopping. Ok, it was more than a little shopping!

On my list, and now checked off were....
  • Cubs team set in the base, diamond, and gold..12 players
  • Complete set of 330 series two cards
  • Kimball champion cards #51-100
  • Topp60 base cards...three Cubs
  • Topps60 Cubs relics...there were a crazy 8 jersey/bat cards plus three autograph cards. Luckily I found a seller with a package that had most of the jersey cards.
  • Alfonso Soriano sparkle card
  • Ryne Sandberg SP variation card, plus the Platinum Anniversary version
  • Ernie Banks SP variation Platinum Anniversary
  • Manufactured Glove cards...three Cubs
  • Vintage logo patch card...one Cub
  • 60 Years of Topps...one Cub...Ernie Banks 1968
Everything should start rolling into WW World Headquarter by the end of the week and I'll get things posted as soon as I get them.

Stay tuned!!
