New Blogger is Getting Better

It's been around a month since I migrated to the new Blogger.  Some of the features that I complained about have been fixed.

This card is shown as inserted from my computer.  Early on, Blogger was inserting them at their actual size, which was way too big. Every inserted picture requires three clicks to make them smaller.  Good to have that fixed.

This card was dragged directly from a folder on my desktop into Blogger.  This was a feature that I really missed, especially for my Sunday Five Random Cubs Cards posts.  Really good to have this back.

What I don't understand is why Google would roll out the new Blogger without all the old features, and then over time put them back.  I'm glad their back, but why did they have to disappear in the first place?

  1. I had no idea you could drag & drop! Man, that would have made my life so much easier over the years. I am glad they fixed the tags feature, it was almost unusable when they first switched.

  2. Didn't know about the drag & drop feature either. I'm still finding a tweak here or there every time I write a new post.

  3. The thing that was bugging me was that it was putting "Open in a new window" on all hyperlinks, forcing me to uncheck it each time. That's fixed but I still have several annoyances.

It would be nice if we could set some defaults. It really wouldn't be that hard.
