It seems a little odd for there to be a Heritage Minors set since there wasn't any minor league action this season. Season or not, Topps will keep cranking them out.
Amaya was probably slated for AA this year. He was on the alternate site roster and spent the summer in South Bend.
Davis was also on the alternate site roster, so he got enjoy South Bend for a second summer in a row.
Here's another guy slated for AA but instead was at the alternate site. He's a lefty with a 100+ fastball, so the Cubs are high on him. So high, that he made his MLB debut at the end of the season, on September 27 against the White Sox. That was the last game of the regular season and the Cubs had the division clinched, so they figured what the heck. Things did not go well for Marquez as he gave up five runs in 2/3 of an inning, so his career ERA is a robust 67.50.
