Topps' National Baseball Card Day is no more. It is now International Trading Card Day. It took place on August 6 and Topps not only had a baseball card set, but also included sets for UAEF Championship League and Garbage Pail Kids.
All I care about is the baseball card set. This year's set again is made up of 30 cards, one player from each team. To get the cards you'd have had to gone to your local hobby shop and made a purchase.
Willson Contreras was the Cubs player in the set. Thankfully he is still a member of the team.
One of my favorite days of the year. Glad to see Contreras stay on Chicago.
